Ouida started calling herself Rita about 1928. When she married James Abell she used the name on the marraige license and had it officially changed on her Social Security Card.

No burial site will be shown as she was cremated and her ashes strewn over the Pacific Ocean by the Neptune Society.

John Deeter, Jr. migrated from Bedford County, PA or Sommerset County, PA, to Montgomery County, Ohio and settled there in 1805. In 1811 he obtained property in Newton Township, Miami County, and settled there in 1812. This may be why our ancestor, David, went there in 1815, to be near his cousin John.
