Note for: John Rench, 1792 - 1811
Index
Individual Note: John never married before his young death at the age of about 20. He is buried beside his parents.
The area in which he died was still a wilderness at that time. His grave was one, if not, the first grave in what is known today as the Pleasant Hill Ohio cemetery. His parents were later (1815 and 1816) buried beside him. It is presumed that young John Rench was in the area on an exploration trip and looking over the land when he died (killed?). He was likely with his father or other relation at the time.
