Individual Note: It is reported that John served with the 7th Cavalry from 1887 - 1890. I have written to the 7th to try and verify this and to find out IF John did serve with the 7th, what specific unit he was with.

Individual Note: Gerald likes to work with wood and building all kinds of contraptions. He worked for the Church of God printing company called Gospel Trumpet Company for some 19 years. He became ill and was unable to work for the next 7 1/2 years. Upon recovering his health, he worked for the Bright Company which distributed paper products to funeral homes. He retired in 1987.
He likes to spend time with their family pet, a yorkie terrier named "Leedom's Little Marmaduke," Duke or Dukie for short.

Individual Note: Phyllis enjoys reading, playing the piano, collecting stamps, singing in her church choir, free lance writing and of course, her genealogy.
She and husband, Gerald own a little Yorkshire Terrier named "Leedom's Little Marmaduke" Duke or Dukie for short. He was born Sept. 22, 1975.
Phyllis and Gerald have 7 international children. They are from; Barbados, Kenya, Lebanon (2), Jamaica, Haiti, and the good ole USA. As Phyllis puts it, "We are proud of each and everyone of them. Our son David (from Barbados), lives in Philadelphia and has two sons age 7 and 4 so we are grandparents. Another son John died 3 years ago. He has one living son and 1 dead."
