     Elizabeth was born on the family homested near Peoria, IL. She was educated at Stubenville Seminary after which she taught in the public schools in Peoria. She later went to live with her married sister Tryphena in Chicago where she met Major George Tredwell, a furier of Albany, NY, whom she married. Joe Bosserman.

     Calvin had a total of five children. Names, genders and dates of birth are not known for 3 of them. Dates of birth for the two daughters are not know.
Calvin was buried in Sprindgale Cem., Peoria, Peoria Co., IL. Joyce Melnar.

     John lived and farmed in Montgomery Co., MD. After his death his family removed to Washington Co., MD and later to Mount Vernon, OH, where his widow Susan remarried. From page 291 "Biographical Annals of Franklin County, PA."

     John's father died in 1818 and in 1829 he removed to Pleasure Twp., Knox Co., OH with his mother. According to pages 794 & 795 of the "History of Knox County, Ohio 1881," John had four sons and six daughters not named.

     Jacob never married. He had a farm in Montgomery Co., MD and was proverbial for his generosity and hospitality. He afterwards resided in the west. Died in Hagerstown. MD. Joe Bosserman.

Individual Note:
     Daniel and his first wife, Ann Maria Rench, had 12 children. She died in 1846 in her 51st year and he remarried to Miss Susanna Miller, by whom he had four more children, one dying in infancy. For a time Daniel had an inn in Hagerestown in which he entertained General Andrew Jackson when he was on his way to take the Presidential Chair. Joe Bosserman.

Individual Note:
     Ann Maria Rentch had 12 children by her marriage to Daniel Henry Schnebly before she died. Her widowed husband then remarried to Miss Susan Miller and had four more children. She is listed as Mary, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Schaeffer) Renc, on page 658 of the book "History and Biographical History of Washington Co., MD" by Williams, 1906. Her exact date of birth as Oct. 25, 1795 is as shown on the International Genealogy Index (I. G. I., 1988 version. Joe Bosserman gave her date of birth as Nov. 25, 1795.
She is mentioned in her father's will, dated as 7 Dec. 1831, recorded as 10 Jan. 1832.
