Dorwin D. Rench, 61, of Seymour, Tenn., formerly of Alma, died May 20, 1991 at the University Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mr. Rench was born June 19, 1929 in Alma, the son of William T. and Phoebe (Hayden) Rench. At their death he was raised by his brother and wife Leonard and Julia Rench. He married Karen Mueller on October 11, 1960.
A graduate of Alma High School in 1947 and then entered the U.S. Air Force where he served for 27 years. He served in both the Korean and Viet Nam Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Karin; sister-in-law Julia (Rench) Meyer; two sisters, Elsie Smith of Saginaw and Mildred Burr of Fenton. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Leonard, Walter, Earl, and Duane and three sisters; Freda Griffith, Ruby Kirkby, and Opal Rench.
Military memorial services were held on June 5, 1991 at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetary in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Funeral servies for Mrs. Alma Lee Keefer, age 70, retired Expeditor for National Air Lines, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5th, 1985 at Gooding Trenton Chapel with Rev. John Keiser conducting the services. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Wilcox, FL, under the direction of Gooding Funeral Home. Mrs. Keefer, who lived in Fanning Springs, FL, died Thursday, Jan 2nd, 1986. Survivors: Husband, Jack A. Keefer of Fanning Springs; son Don G. Rench, Gainesville; 1 sister, Mary Gunn, Atlanta, GA, 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

J. Arthur Markin, 75
      J. Arthur Markin, 75, 1204 E. Fuson Road, died Thursday morning in his home after a long illness.
      He was born in Harrison Township, attended Harrison Township and Royerton schools and graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1930.
      Mr. Markin was employed at DeSoto Elevator Co. before his retirement. Earlier he had worked at Owens-Illinois ad also had been a self-employed carpenter.
      He was a member of Industry United Methodist Church, Albany Senior Citizens and Moose Lodge 225, Hartford City. He was a former member of Eagles Lodge 231, Muncie.
      Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Heaton Markin; three sons, Wayen Markin, Brooksville, Fla., Hugh Markin, Charlottesville, Va., and David Markin, Jeffersonville; two sisters, Thelma Cummings, Newbury Park, Calif., Iva Lee (Mrs. Ralph) Delclef, Onxard, Calif., two brothers, Dee Markin, Upland, and Charles Markin, Pensacola, Fla; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
       Services will be 10 am Monday in Meeks Mortuary, with Rev. O. Gene Smith and Harold Frederick officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory.
      Calling hours at the mortuary are 2-6 pm Sunday and before services Monday. Memorials may be sent to Delaware County Cancer Society, Special Services.
