Individual Note: HannB Mayer was baptized in Leissigen on April 21, 1639 as Hanns Meyer. He emigrated to Treschklingen near Hohenstadt/Wimpfen via Kirchentellinsfurt near Tubingen in about 1666. He became a highly respected farmer and even a local judge in Teschklingen, living there till September 25, 1728, when he died of old age.
HannB had a total of 12 children, 4 sons, and 8 daughters, stayed alive founding families of their own.

Individual Note: Barbara died of exhaustion when the whole family had to leave Treschklingen to Wimpfen, where their oldest daughter was living at that time. They had to escape from French troops, having crossed the river Rhine and invading that area in summer 1693.

Individual Note: Christen Meyer is known as not to have been a very obedient man, as he was sentenced by the religious court in 1668 to have traveled to the "Netherlands" (i.e. all areas north of Switzerland) together only with the wife of a neighbor (but without him ). However, he became ill, and had to return to Leissigen. He died Nov. 13, 1684, smashed by a falling rock in Daerligen.
